QuickBooks bridge — safety scope

We sit next to QuickBooks. We don't replace it.

Below is the complete list of what AxiView does and does not touch inside your QuickBooks Online account, plus how to revoke our access at any time. If your bookkeeper has a question that isn't answered here, email the founders.

What AxiView does

  • Push AxiView invoices into QuickBooks Online as draft invoices.
  • Read invoice payment status back from QuickBooks (read-only mirror).
  • Match a AxiView customer to a QuickBooks customer (you confirm every match before first push).
  • Store an encrypted OAuth refresh token so push works without re-login. (AES-256-GCM at rest, AWS KMS-managed.)

What AxiView never does

  • Write or modify your General Ledger.
  • Touch payroll, vendor bills, or expenses.
  • Create QuickBooks customers, items, or accounts without explicit confirm.
  • Pull historical AR data into AxiView.
  • Post journal entries.
  • Train AI models on your QuickBooks data.

How to revoke at any time

  • Revoke from AxiView: /settings/integrations → Disconnect.
  • Revoke from Intuit: Apps → Manage My Apps → Disconnect AxiView.
  • Either action invalidates the stored refresh token within minutes.
  • Push history in AxiView remains intact (for your audit log) but no further writes can occur.
